Fussybutt turned and topstitched organic diapers are a great option for parents who prefer trim fitting, yet absorbent, natural fiber diapers for their babies. Fussybutt T+T diapers are unique in that they are serged with decorative thread at the front panel and back waist to minimize bulk in these areas and add a flash of color, but turned and topstitched at the legs for a softer fit on baby-chubbed thighs. This T+T “hybrid” style also features hidden snaps and gentle elastic, which means a more comfortable fit for baby and less chance of red marks or irritation from serger thread on sensitive skin.

Small, medium, and large Fussybutt fitted diapers are made of two full body layers of absorbant (typically organic) material and a “wet-zone” hidden layer. A contoured snap-in quick-dry soaker of 4 to 6 layers increases the total layers of fabric in the wet zone to between 7 and 9, making the diaper very absorbent but easy to launder and quick to dry! Most soakers are topped with bamboo/organic cotton blend velour, but please read product descriptions carefully for details.

Newborn Fussybutt fitted diapers are fully serged to keep baby messes better contained, and they come with two lay-in soakers. A convenient umbilical cord snap down is available on request, but the snap caps will not be hidden on the inside. While older versions of Fussybutt newborn diapers had exposed snap caps, our latest newborn diapers have hidden snaps in the tabs. Hooray!

Fussybutt All-In-One diapers are much like our fitted diapers, except the outer body layer is waterproof so there is no need to use a waterproof cover over the diaper. We use PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric or non-pilling, high quality fleece for our AIO diapers. Unlike our fitted diapers, Fussybutt AIO diapers are not topstitched at the legs.
Our AIOs are made with organic cotton fleece inners unless otherwise noted in the product description. Although the AIOs are sized slightly larger than our fitted diapers, your child should fit into the same size Fussybutt AIOs as the fitteds. Please refer to the Fussybutt fitted size chart below to select the appropriate size, or contact us with questions.

Our wool diaper covers and pants are made to fit perfectly over Fussybutt diapers, but will also fit over other trim diapers. Covers made from wool interlock are very stretchy, so this fabric option gives the greatest range of wear. Please note that all of our covers are trim cut, so if you prefer using your covers over extremely bulky diapers these may not be the best covers for you.

All of our diapers and covers are serged with colorful, durable, polyester decorative thread unless noted otherwise. Please refer to each product description for item-specific details. Fussybutt also offers a wide range of clothing designed to fit over cloth diapers. Our wool pants, wool shorts, and wool leggings may be worn over fitted diapers in place of a diaper cover, or worn over an AIO diaper as a trim and comfortable clothing alternative.

Sizing is approximate, especially the weight guidelines, but you may refer to the size charts when selecting a size for your child. If you need assistance in selecting the right size, just e-mail me.
